Gioele La Manno has been selected to join the FENS-Kavli Network of Excellence as one of the 15 FENS-Kavli Scholars of the 2026–2030 cohort, a network of outstanding early- and mid-career neuroscientists from across Europe.

Gioele La Manno has been awarded the Boehringer Ingelheim FENS Research Award 2026 for outstanding and innovative contributions to neuroscience, recognising his work on brain development, RNA velocity, and single-cell and spatial lipidomics.
